Terms of Use
These Terms govern access to brkhq.com, RIFT accounts, the RIFT platform and digital services provided by BREAK™.
Last updated: October 23, 2026
1. Acceptance and applicable documents
By accessing the website, creating an account or using RIFT, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not create an account or use the services.
Games, tests, promotions or particular features may have additional rules shown before use. Those rules control only that feature and never waive mandatory statutory rights.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Provide accurate information, make legitimate personal use of the account and keep information current. Usernames may not infringe rights, impersonate others, imply false affiliation, contain illegal material or be used for harassment.
RIFT is not directed to users under 13. Users under 18 require parental or guardian authorization and assistance as applicable. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Protect your password and device and promptly report suspected compromise; BREAK™ will never request your password by email or support.
3. License
BREAK™ grants a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable license to install and use RIFT and games made available to your account for personal, non-commercial purposes under these Terms and title-specific rules.
No ownership is transferred. You may not copy, sell, rent, distribute, commercially exploit, bypass protections, reverse engineer beyond what law permits, modify clients for unfair advantage, or use unauthorized software that interferes with the services.
4. Acceptable use
Do not violate law or third-party rights; harass, threaten, discriminate or impersonate; publish abusive or malicious content; distribute malware; exploit vulnerabilities; automate abusive access; manipulate systems, licenses or matches; disrupt infrastructure; or access accounts, data or areas without authorization.
Cheating, match manipulation, bug abuse, unauthorized account, credential or item sales and interference with other players may lead to restrictions. Security testing requires BREAK™’s prior written authorization.
5. User content
You retain rights in avatars, display names, bios and other content you submit. You confirm you hold necessary permissions and grant BREAK™ a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, technically adapt and display that content only as needed to operate and promote the feature where it was published.
We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, law or third-party rights. A reporting mechanism will be announced before community features become publicly available.
6. Games, development versions and updates
RIFT and some games may be in development, testing or early access. Features, compatibility, progress, servers, requirements and availability may change. We will communicate material changes when reasonably possible.
RIFT may check for, download and install updates needed for security, compatibility and operation. You are responsible for connectivity, compatible equipment, storage and backups of important local data.
7. Availability and third parties
We work to keep services available and secure, but maintenance, failures, attacks, provider outages or events beyond our control may interrupt them. Continuous or error-free operation is not guaranteed, without excluding mandatory statutory warranties.
Third-party links and integrations such as GitHub, Discord, X and YouTube are governed by those parties’ terms. BREAK™ does not control their content or availability.
8. Intellectual property
RIFT, BREAK™, OVER•RUN: BLITZKRIEG, trademarks, logos, interfaces, code, text, artwork, audio and other materials are protected and owned by BREAK™ or their licensors. No trademark or content use is authorized beyond use of the services or express permission.
A channel for infringement claims will be announced before commercial distribution. A request must identify the owner, work, content location and information needed for a good-faith review.
9. Suspension, termination and deletion
We may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, security risks, fraud, legal requirements or protection of users and services. When appropriate and permitted, we consider severity, repetition and the possibility of correction.
You may stop using the services and request account deletion. Some data may be retained under the Privacy Policy and law. Closure may make profiles, social relationships, libraries and linked data unavailable, subject to acquired and mandatory rights.
10. Liability and consumer rights
Services are provided at the disclosed stage of development. To the extent permitted by law, BREAK™ is not liable for indirect loss resulting from incompatible use, Terms violations, user equipment or third-party services.
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights. Any liability is determined under applicable law, causation and the specific circumstances.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms for legal, technical or business changes. The current version and date appear here. Material changes may be communicated on the site, in RIFT or by email and may require renewed acceptance where required.
Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted. If you disagree, you may stop using the services and request account deletion.
12. Governing law and disputes
Brazilian law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory protections in your country of residence. A support channel will be announced before commercial launch. Consumers retain access to legally available authorities, platforms and courts, including the competent court of their domicile where guaranteed.
If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
BREAK™ is an independent studio project under development. Formal controller identification and a privacy channel will be published before commercial launch.
